Sometimes a burden seems lighter when it is shared with others. Or another person might have a good suggestion for addressing and overcoming temptation. Support groups can be a great help in this respect, and they come in many different varieties - from ongoing weekly meetings to residential programs.
Here are several of the better known ministries that offer them:

Exodus International maintains a geographical listing of affiliate ministries and counselors that have undergone a rigorous screening and accountability process. Groups include ongoing meetings and residential treatment programs for same and opposite sex strugglers.

Desert Stream Ministries brings hope and the healing power of Jesus for sexual and relational issues like homosexuality, sexual addiction, sexual abuse and emotional dependency.

Homosexuals Anonymous Fellowship Services is a Christ-centered fourteen step recovery program for dealing with same-sex attraction/behavior.

Celebrate Recovery is a Christ centered 12-step program "ministering to those who struggle with hurts, hang-ups, habits or addictions" of any kind. Not specifically dedicated to sexuality issues, most of the support groups do deal with them when they surface.
