What We Do

Networking

Transforming Congregations networks with several official and unofficial renewal groups in The United Methodist Church, striving to bring an evangelical and Spirit-filled approach to denominational ministry and mission.  Some of the groups also advocate for church policy and legislation that reflect traditional understandings of sexuality, marriage and family.  As an active member of the Renewal Coalition at General Conference (United Methodism's international, once-every-four-years legislative meeting), the Transforming Congregations team bears prophetic witness to the reality of transformational grace and freedom from homosexual attraction and behavior and from gender confusion.  Several of us have made similar legislative efforts at our local (Annual Conference) levels, and we are available for consultation and strategizing.

Here are the links to the other United Methodist groups.  Clicking on them will take you to a frame outside this website. Use the "back" button on your browser to return to this page.
